Your Guide: Ben West
Ben runs ‘Where the wild things are’, a wildlife guiding company offering natural history courses and tours through Surrey and Sussex. His love of nature began in childhood when he developed a keen interest in birds, and a good ear for bird-song, which he now teaches in a Spring course for beginner birdwatchers. Over the years his interests have expanded to encompass a wider range of natural history with a particular emphasis on insects such as butterflies and dragonflies, freshwater fish and through his study on wildflowers and fungi, to the world of wild food and medicine. Ben will touch on all these subjects and more on his walks for the Garden Design Collective.
